Marshall Reavis
President & Founder
During his time at Mobil Oil Corporation, Marshall and a team of colleagues developed the first magnetic stripe gift card, The Mobil GO Card in 1995.
He left Mobil the next year and founded SVM, a company that would become a leading issuer and distributor of retail gift and network prepaid cards. SVM’s first product was The Mobil GO Card. By the beginning of 2020, the company was marketing over 400 retail gift cards and network prepaid cards both in the U.S. and internationally. SVM was sold to Blackhawk Network Holdings, a Silver Lake Portfolio company, in April 2020.
Reavis has a B.A. from DePauw University and currently sits on its Board of Trustees. He also serves on the boards of ScholarLeaders, Life Builders Ministries International (Lagos, Nigeria), and ReNew Communities. Reavis resides in Lake Bluff, Illinois with his wife. He has four adult children and 3 grandkids..
Christian Erzinger
Head of Operations
Christian spent 19 years at SVM, overseeing a team that managed the retail distribution of proprietary gift cards to tens of thousands of gas stations and well-known hotel brands.
He is also the President of Specialty Fulfillment Service, a firm that provides pick, pack, ship, repack, and kitting services to e-commerce companies. Christian has a B.A. from the University of Kansas, and serves on the Board of Directors of Santa’s Volunteers, and the Lake Bluff Barbeque Society.
A proud father of three children and one grandchild, he resides in Lake Bluff, Illinois with his wife
John Stulas
Head of Finance
John spent 19 years as the Chief Financial Officer at SVM, overseeing the finance operation during a period when the company grew 40-fold.
He was also Chief Financial Officer at TOTUS, a gift card start-up formed to support full outsource issuance solutions in the gift card space. John has a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He co-founded the Association of Horizon, Inc. – an organization that runs a Summer Camp for adults with physical disabilities. He resides in Lockport, Illinois and has three adult children.
Carol Castelli
Head of Marketing
An astute strategist known for blending creativity and analytics, Carol brings deep expertise driving revenue, engagement and profitable partnerships for companies including ConAgra Foods, Disney, and Blackhawk Network. With her unique blend of business acumen and compassionate spirit, she seeks to make meaningful corporate and local contributions that leave a lasting impact. A proud mother of two (& new grandma) Carol, additionally, founded My Barn Family Sanctuary, a goat sanctuary nestled in the heart of middle Tennessee.
Elizabeth Crowe
Head of Administration – Outside Consultant
Liz has been in the gift card industry for over 23 years and has a vast knowledge of this space.
In her most recent role at SVM, she was the Manager of Financial Administration. In this position, she balanced the company’s bank accounts in addition to reconciling the issued brand’s settlement accounts along with managing their inactive inventory. She oversaw the accounting team and took care of any registrations for the company, which included licensure with casinos or states and/or government entities. Liz also assisted the CFO at year-end with Audits and performed various administrative duties throughout.
Liz attended Triton College and majored in accounting. She is an active notary in the state of Illinois and volunteers at her children’s school in her spare time. A proud mother of teenage twins, she resides in Rosemont, Illinois with her husband.
